Bed very comfortable, hotel newly refurbished staff very friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast good. I asked for a quiet room away from the road and the room we had was very quiet.
Parking easy in front of hotel.

A newly refurbished and fitted out hotel in an old bank that is just starting out. The first thing that stands out is that EVERYONE cares and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are superb and very comfortable and immaculately clean. The bathroom likewise.
The restaurant is small but the food is at the high end in terms of quality and presentation.
Proximity to Warrington Central Station makes it a great venue for exploring the wider area or as accommodation for work.
A great find and well worth considering.

Large rooms , swimming pool and spar good , some rooms that face the back can be noisy due to wedding venues, breakfast ok , busy on haydock race days , bar is always under staffed and can be long waites for drinks , especially when weddings on.

The hotel was very nice but I would reccomend going when there isnt any wedding party on. It was very busy and it seemed somewhat understaffed to help everybody with their issues.
The staff was pleasant. Although you could see they were extremely busy and under pressure.

The hotel is actually nearer Ashton in Makerfield than Haydock, however perfect for the racecourse and short drive off the M6, very easy to find. I wasn't visiting for sightseeing but visiting family for a celebration so am familiar with the local areas. J23 of the M6 offers convenient links to liverpool/manchester/chester etc. great base for visiting all the North West has to offer for those visiting for business and leisure purposes.

On arriving I found the staff warm and friendly, they were very informative of procedures, I'd made a special request upon booking which they were able to accommodate no problem. Our room was clean, with all the usual facilities, and the bathroom though small, was spotless and all in good working order.
The bed was abit firm for my personal taste, but that's my personal preference.
The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel stay, plenty of choice, excellent quality and very fresh, the restaurant staff were warm and welcoming, all in all a very positive experience.

A great hotel and hotel receptionist was very helpful and gave us all the required information needed and location was perfect for our race night and returned and drank late with a late bar which was a bonus and woke up to a fab breakfast what catered for all and had coffee on tap and fresh bread and yoghurt I would highly recommend this hotel the staff were friendly and the room was very clean and tidy I will definitely return.
Despite a weird location (near an industrial place)- tad hard to find with Sat Nav the hotel is tucked away and is beautiful on the outside with nice scenery. You’re wowed when you see the hotel on the outside.
It has a very large interior space for dinning plus outside patio. Which is just lovely to sit and dine when the weather is warm. There is a pool, gym and jacuzzi which we used on our visit too.
Food menu for dinner is pretty large and they have a good selection of drinks.
We didn't stay at Ibis Styles, but were relocated to Mercure Haydock as Ibis was closed to holiday makers.
Mercure Haydock was fantastic. Friendly staff, great comfortable rooms, beautiful surroundings and great location.
Hotel was busy with business people, but quiet during the night.
That will probably not be the case when a wedding is going on as the suites are right next door.
Based on our stay, the stay was excellent.
Though the place was busy with racegoers we received a friendly welcome and checked in very quickly.
We had an evening meal in the bar which was very good and very reasonably priced. The menu was pub grub but there was a good and varied choice, nicely presented and good quality.
The room was comfortable with a nice bathroom and very comfy bed.
Breakfast was great - a nicely cooked and plentiful full English.
Lovely refurbished hotel till, nice and clean and the pub is really nice and great food, staff all nice and friendly, location is really good 10 mins walk and you have as many pubs and wine bars as you like , you just need to found them , lovely restaurants and a weatherspoons for a few cheap ones ,
The Ibis Haydock is in a great location just off the M6 and also for the racecourse. The hotel is modern and very comfortable. There is a great lounge area and bar for unwinding. Breakfast is hot and cold self-service and just right to start the day. Overall the Ibis offers good value.
we liked the location of the hotel,
good comfortable bed with a choice of soft or firm pillows.
hot powerful shower
room was spacious
hotel had spa facilities, steam room, sauna
complimentary late check out
lots of food choice on the menu

Very efficient check-in, friendly and attentive staff, food was of a good standard and well prepared. Would have no hesitation in staying here again, or recommending the hotel to freinds. The beds are extremely comfortable and huge.
The breakfasts we really good with lots of choice. Loved the health facilities and the kids loved the pool. the temperature was perfect. The restaurant menu was varied and all the family was happy with the choices.
Third time in as many weeks brilliant hotel and the staff are absolutely brilliant me and my girlfriend are getting very fond of this hotel so easy to just chill out we will be going again soon.
Hotel was clean and tidy and the room was a good size with a comfortable bed. It was a good site for a trip to Haydock races and the staff were friendly and helpful.
