My family and I love this place! It’s an absolute gem. The location is perfect for walking to all the restaurants on The Strand as well as easy access to Mount Maunganui. The kitchen, bedrooms and bedding, and bathrooms are fresh, modern, and upscale like a luxury hotel. The parking garage is fantastic and super convenient to the unit. And, Annie is a fantastic, super-responsive and accommodating host. This is our new go-to place in Tauranga / Bay of Plenty.

We were really impressed with the quality of our apartment. It was well equipped with every thing we needed and more. The entire unit was cleaned to a really high standard. The facilities in the resort were an added bonus. The heated outdoor pool and spa were lovely. The location is great, close to both the Mount and Tauranga and to the plenty of activities around the Bay of Plenty. We will definitely stay here again.

Our apartment was so spacious and comfortable, inside and out, with every convenience. We were in a lovely quiet neighbourhood just a short walk to the beach, and close to all our Bay of Plenty explorations. Sandra and Doug made us so comfortable and were able to keep us two extra days during the cyclone and help us figure out what we should do and even supplied extra jigsaw puzzles for entertainment.

Nice big room, new carpet, super comfortable beds and pillows (I'm very fussy) Air con was great in the muggy heat, good pressure shower. Good locations, lots of parking.

My family and I decided last minute to head down to rotorua for the night. The best decision we ever made as whanau. We felt very welcomed from start to end. Rooms were amazing clean tidy and enough room so we could all sit together and eat. Pool was amazing couldn’t have asked for better.

The location was right on the beach

We loved everything about this hotel and were so glad we stayed here. It is so close to eat street and the restaurants. We liked being able to walk everywhere. Great shower and comfortable bed too.

The mattress is really nice! very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay here. The facilities was only a walk away. The kitchen was not the kitchen I had seen on the internet! It was a basic communal kitchen with loads of space. The thermal pools were awesome however my partner does think that a touch up of the place is needed. Pool was great too. I think the only thing I would fault would be the shower. Its very small. Other than that, great family experience! Oh and the chess board was pretty neat, even if they had road cones for replacement.

Our room was warm and comfortable, with plenty of extra blankets for the colder nights. The bathroom facilities were clean and seemed recently renovated, feeling modern and fresh. Check in was simple and painless, with accommodations made for our later arrival time. the location is beautiful and peaceful, avoiding city noise while remaining handy to the city centre. We loved staying here and will definitely be returning.

Friendly staff, cleanliness, the area

The lodge is clean, quiet, and roomy. The location is perfect for our visits to Hobbiton and Mt. Maunganui. Brendon and his family are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area.
